What is Ultrasonic Surgery?

The system’s transducer converts electrical energy into mechanical longitudinal vibrations at 55,500 times per second. When the blade touches tissue, it breaks molecular bonds to cut while simultaneously denaturing proteins to create a secure seal (hemostasis).
